As long a we the people have our say, we the people will bash our presidents, not a damn one of them can do any good for our country**according to rule** It's been like that since day 1, when Bush is gone and the next gets in line, people will bash right away.
All the people who are bashing bush must realize, do you think he really gives a damn what you think, he has the power not you, he is out of office soon and will disappear with his millions.

The answer to your question knox is in my post I think. In the line, Politics in this country suffer from greater and deeper forces than just one man. (Clinton, Guiliani, on down the line with few exceptions) The whole system is dysfunctional, and it became this way from years of complacency. Da di da da on and on! I agree you saw it with Clinton as well, but not to the degree you see with Bush!
The reason in the degrees can be attributed to the same complaceny. People didnt ***** as much, because as a whole we were less affected, and many people were benefiting from his policies. They were still misaligned with the good of the Nation as a whole though.
What is needed is a new revolution, one without violence, but aimed at taking Our interests back in front of the corporations!

There is somebody who has chosen his screen name well. Random, and everything he says is just that. Random generalizations, random statements, random grammar, and random punctuation. Oh, forgot random spelling. Is that someone I want to represent America?
I think not. As much as I disagree with Gardenforge, Fanta and others on here, they do represent an America that wants to be honest and peaceful. They represent an America that is not only about war and weapons like the president that is supposed to stand for the whole nation. Why would anybody "hate" the president, he is not worth that much emotion, despising him is plenty enough.
And for that you don't have to be communist, liberal, democrat or anything else, you only have to be human.

(Knoxman, did you get my mail?)

You could be right Davy, I am only 28, LOL, but I do remember a time when most Americans were proud, patriotic, and although there have always been some disagreements, very satisfied with the job our leadership was doing!

And by the way RandomX, someone who states openly that he has no problem to shoot somebody else in the butt for his beliefs can't complain too much himself when he stands face to face with somebody else with a different opinion.
Or would you like me to shoot you in the butt for yours?

Well, my point of view is, if you invest more in education than in warmongering, you all could write English properly and you would be able to do GOOD in the world, and every body would admire America for that. But taking young ones that have just finished school, not able to read or write properly, give them a weapon in the hand is spelling out disaster.
I'm "only" a foreigner, English being my second language, but I'm cringing when I read post of people who want to be so intelligent without the ability to express themselves in a proper way.

I'm not a " light weight " for one, and secondly I'm disgusted with someone who sees it as his " God given right " to shoot someone else for his beliefs.
