The ("hate?") will turn to lesser players (politicians) who deserve it! You talk as if the end game is Nov, 08. I do not look at this as true. I think of it as the beginning.
Politics in this country suffer from greater and deeper forces than just one man. The whole system is dysfunctional, and it became this way from years of complacency. Voters frustration will turn towards the issues, (I hope) and the politicians that do not support the Peoples ideas of right and wrong.
One by one we must eliminate these men and women (Our representatives) that support corporations motives that are bought and paid for by lobbyist. Then maybe we can say touchdown (end game) and the void left will be filled with happiness, contentment, and the knowledge of a job well done.

This will be a long hard battle. It may take years but we 9The People) must remain focused and steadfast. Never lose sight of our goals and let complacency creep back into our thoughts. Teach the need to be active to our children and remind them how screwed up things can become when we are complacent.
First we must reach that plateau, and Nov 08 is just the beginning. In the meantime show your children that you are concerned by maintaining the drive and focus arriving at this plateau will require. Do not quit, do not become complacent just because Bush is gone. There are many more politicians out there that still do not get it. They have thick skulls and deep pockets. We must attack these politicians, and the lobbyist that buy their votes. We must make sure all of them know that this is a country of the people, by the people, and for the people! Not the corporations!!
