I know what you mean Tee I have been single for 7 weeks now and I do feel smarter! I'm diggin on being single and not dating. I must love my own company  Not only do women get smarter when they stay away from men, they suddenly no longer have faults. They become perfect. Its a mystery. We get smarter because there is no man around to do our thinking for us as they suck the life's blood out of our brains.   This was burnt.... I loved it |

Hey teebee there's nothing wrong with taking a break, to take a step back and catch your breath and focus on other things.However your a smart, funny, attractive woman. Don't let a bad streak in dating turn you off on all men. Its hard to meet the right person and yes it is discouraging but love conquers all. Good luck and God bless!

If they could forget about sex, they would definitely get smarter. |

Since I've given up dating I am enjoying my life more! I'm working out to feel more healthy, not to check out the desk attendant, like I use to. I feel like my IQ has even jumped a point or two. Does anyone else feel like their lives have taken a turn for the better now that they've given up or " postponed" looking for dates? something similar happened to me when I started staying away from the negative people Or the ones who are miserable and love company. |

I found that when I didn't concentrate so much on dating that I focused my energies on other avenues as well. I mean, I am healthy and happy, and getting better at both every day. So what if I don't have someone in my life? I would rather be happy being single than with someone and miserable.

The pressure to please is on standby. So, in the meantime, I'm simply enjoying life at my own pace. Not having to worry about everything being in its place feels great... this is real... FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!!!

Except for work; my life is pretty good. I love working with my two bands as they appreciate me much more than any man every could.

Best decision I ever made was to embrace the Proverb - It is better to dwell in the wilderness, than with a contentious and angry woman.
I have my work, friends and I can share my time but no one that I am driving crazy or is driving me crazy. I have my moments, but not enough moments to give up the peace of mind and peace of home that I have had the past 4- 5 years. |
