He looked like a bad drawing, and I wonder what he was hiding behind his moustache and beard. Something was not right about his lines. His lines were a little shaky, as if the artist was suffering from the D. T.'s.

His hair was dark and straggly, the growth from his upper lip, chin and head all culminated in wiggly, jiggly, thin, wispy, inverted peaks.

He might have been intimidating, but his inability to make eye contact magnified is soft voice with a hint of a nasally lisp. Or, maybe the artist drew his tongue too large for his mouth.

He was taller than me, of average build. His taste also average, or perhaps, predictable. His nature, what one might call steadfast, and loyal to his preferences, preferences being the Mountain Dew and candy bar.

I suspect if an artist was at work, he/she might draw a book case with the Hobbit or something of the same genre, dusty on the shelf. Melted candle sticks in old liquor bottles stain dark walls with shades of yellow. The clock radio would flash because time does not matter in his world, if there was such an artist.
