'Guns Across America' group to sponsor Statehouse rally Springfield IL Events Calendar By JASON NEVEL The State Journal-Register Posted Jan 16, 2013 @ 10:00 PM Last update Jan 16, 2013 @ 11:19 PM Second Amendment advocates plan to rally outside the state Capitol Saturday as part of a nationwide demonstration designed to discourage lawmakers from supporting tougher gun restrictions. The rally begins at noon near the Abraham Lincoln statue along Second Street. A pre-rally is scheduled for 10 a.m. at the Curve Inn, 3219 S. Sixth Street Road. A post-rally also will be held at the Curve Inn. About 300 people have confirmed on Facebook and another 600 invitations were sent out, she said. People are encouraged to bring pro-gun signs. The rallies are sponsored by the website “Guns Across America.” Sangamon County Sheriff , a Republican, said he supports more strenuous background checks and increased school security. However, he disagreed with banning certain guns. “Mental health is where they need to concentrate their efforts,” Kettelkamp said. =================================================================== Hope they don't mix Drinking with the Anger over Guns control at that Curve INN..

Stefan Molyneux If you are for gun control, then you are not against guns, because the guns will be needed to disarm people. So it’s not that you are anti-gun. You’ll need the police’s guns to take away other people’s guns. So you’re very Pro-Gun, you just believe that only the Government (which is, of course, so reliable, honest, moral and virtuous…) should be allowed to have guns. There is no such thing as gun control. There is only centralizing gun ownership in the hands of a small, political elite and their minions.

The Madness of the US Gun Culture Media creats more radical people. Meaning those being very different against the norm. A person or a group that is with very unique ideas, not necessarily good ideas that work out well.

I must have missed the part that stated, BYOB or liquor for sale. If I was reeeeealy concerned there would be alcohol there, I'd go see for myself. Give us an update.

Yep, you missed it. No suprised !! I am concerned for others many people go there, Whenever I pass that place. it is usually crowded and they party. Tavern/Inn usually means alcohol Drinking. Duh... alcohol and Angry people don't go well together. Crazy acting angry haters will be there.

I like Colberts take on it basically, he says its not violent movies, we arent the only country with violent movies its not the violent video games, we arent the only country with those its not the guns, we arent the only country with guns its not craziness, we arent the only country with crazie,, but wait we are the only country with the level of CRAZY we have ,,,, lol

I am concerned for others many people go there, Whenever I pass that place. it is usually crowded and they party. Party usually means alcohol Drinking. Duh... alcohol and Angry people don't go well together. Crazy acting angry haters will be there. Where's the proof they are crazy acting haters? Is that just an ASSumption? Inn to me means restaurant. They got a buffet?

Why would you say hater are showing up? Is it that anyone who loves our 2nd amendment is a hater and crazy acting?

Same way Clinton demonized Koresh on National Television,then sent in the Goon-Squad! Same MO at Ruby Ridge and other Places!

Seriously. I'd like to know what type of clientele this bar draws. If they like and cater to bikers, I might like to go and refer some friends there.
