At an unprecedented 70 minutes The Story of the Kelly Gang is regarded as the world's first feature length film.

It premiered at the Athaneum Hall in Melbourne (Australia) on the 26th December 1906. Written and directed by Charles Tait, the film traces the life of the legendary Australian bushranger, Ned Kelly (1855-1880).

ned kelly movie of this time an old time movie remake starring that movie actor long may he rest in peace (heath ledger)

but recognised as the worlds first full length movie .is understood as the kelly gang

How about Wall Street from 1987? Michael Douglas, Charlie Sheen. It's so relevant today in light of the current economy. Great characters and plot, fast and funny.

So the original Dawn of the Dead is your favorite Horror movie- Torgo70?

Yep. One of my favorite films, period. What's yours?
The original The Texas Chainsaw Massacre, I'm a monster kid at heart and I'm a very big Zombie fan!

I fell asleep at the drive in during this movie back in high school

now I am totally convinced that I am the only one here with any taste in film. tongue2 To me old films not to forget are classics like:

(the original)
Breakfast At Tiffany's

Gentlemen Prefer BLondes (anything with marilyn really)

The Good The Bad and The Ugly

White Christmas

From Here To Eternity

The Wizard of Oz

Rear Window...grace kelly was one of my heroes
Only person here with any taste in film? You must be blind!

I can see that I may as well just languish in my own good taste lol

There is no good taste or bad taste, film is subjective. Everyone likes different things. Someone loving Plan 9 From Outer Space or Weasels Rip My Flesh has just as much merit as a film watcher as someone who loves Casablanca or Sophie's Choice.

Me personally, I love all types of cinema, from the schlocky B-grade low budget horror to the arthouse Foreign flick. I can get just as much entertainment(though maybe a different type of entertainment) out of watching Psychos In Love or Poultrygeist: Night Of The Chicken Dead, as I can from watching Jean-Luc Godard's Week End or Luis Bunuel's The Exterminating Angel.

Yep. I'm a big McDowell fan, so I try to track down everything he's in. He's also in a movie about a killer baboon titled Shakma.

Absolutely - done by Gerry Anderson, of Thunderbirds fame, if I remember correctly. I really loved their spaceships - the Eagles - which were effectively space trucks. I was quite young when I saw it and I remember it with great fondness, though I suspect if I were to see it now it wouldn't have aged well. Those seventies flared pants, and the over dramatic music! Still, for the sake of nostalgia, it might be bearable.
