When choosing to use a site like this, you know you're going to be contacted and friend requested by people you're not going to be interested in. If that bothers someone so much, this might not be the best way for them to meet new people.

I just checked now and I currently have 28 friend requests from people I've never chatted with before. I tend not to pay attention unless it's a user name I recognize. Eventually, I'll go through and decline them all.

I also rarely look at who has viewed me.

Right, I get that we're all different. A site like this is going to be tough for someone who freaks out over friend requests from strangers.

And these kind of sites are always going to have men looking for sex. Being surprised about it isn't going to change that. It's going to happen. Doesn't mean you need to do accept those friend requests or respond to those emails, though.

It might help if we had other types of so called 'friends requests' to expand the one for 'intimate' we could also have 'inane' and 'indifferent' to cater to those who don't even know the people they are making the request to...
