Life shouldn't be centered around dying or thoughts of last days. It should be about living and enjoying life and having fun.

I am going to crank call Steve now. Who wants to join me?

I never expected to lose my husband and both my sons within a few short years...I never expected that they would all die so young...And I'm the last one "left."...Right now I don't have plans for the future yet. Just taking things day by day for now...Before I can make plans I have to reinvent myself and figure out "who I am" today (minus my family) and decide what I might like or want for myself...I feel like Humpty Dumpty right now and I'm in "pieces."...What "pieces" do I want to keep? And which "pieces" should I discard because they don't apply to my current life or fit me anymore?...No one expects to suddenly lose their entire family. It's unthinkable...And I certainly didn't expect to lose both of my kids too...It just takes time to absorb all of it and get through the grief and make plans for a new life on my own.

Living in the moment or from paycheck to paycheck like most people do, is normal.

But how long do you have to live?

What if someone (your doctor) told you that you had only six month to live? How would you live the next six months?

Or what if you just knew for sure when you were going to die?

How would you plan your life?

We don't really think much about death as we live our lives from day to day. But we all know that we are all going to die, we just don't know when. What if we could know? Or what if we could decide?

How long do you want to live and what are your plans for the rest of your life or do you think about it?

Do you have a plan?

Living in the moment and pay check to pay check can and usually do mean the same thing...
Can you please explain what you think the difference is? Most of us were not born rich.

I have always thought a lot about death being so close to it so many times. I honestly don't know very many real life people who don't so maybe you can decipher that question as well?

My life... I have lived pretty much to the fullest.

Making sure my Son and Brother (8 years younger then me who I got custody of getting him out of hell house) were my greatest priorities.
That they were fed healthy and educated well.

After accomplishing what to me was my greatest job ever without being on welfare or getting child support I did for myself.

At age 42 I retired to a most amazing area, the foothills of the Funeral Mountains in DVNP (Death Valley National Park) having my doublewide and property paid off.

Also, the 3 power poles it took to get power to my property, the biggest deepest well in this area, most haven't a clue what these things cost but then they don't need to.

I live on a street, that's actually a circle, that bears my surname.

When I die what I have passes to my Grandchildren.

I've had to of had a plan to achieve what I have done. And I've lived life to the fullest doing it, flushed or poor.

So what have you done? You asked the question but didn't answer it.

I am going to spend the first part of my life accumulating money
and I'm going to spend the last half of my life giving it all away.
