There is a thread about dating other races.

Well, would you go one farther and marry a different race?

As for me, yes.

Isn't this along the same lines as the other thread, though? My answer would be the same as it was there.

It really matters if you are going to have children. Mind you I am NOT anti-biracial children. But your children, even in this day and age, will take some flack interracial parents. My one friend's wife is the lightest skinned black woman I ever met. Her one daughter passes for Caucasian (her husband is Irish). The other while very beautiful is black as black can be (grandparents genes). When she was little she did heart breaking things like wish to be white for Christmas and then bawling when she woke up and was not. She was in all honestly one of the most gorgeous children I have ever seen and she even modeled for Mattel. But her mother was prepared for this. She even subscribed to some newsletter about biracial children at one point.

Nothing against your friend... but how children are raised..black..white or in between will determine how they "deal" with this! My niece and nephew have always been around both sides of the family! Both sides tell them they are beautiful..which they are.
Raising a bi racial child around all white people is not good. This teaches a non white child that they are less than!
Not to say that bi racial children wont have problems or issues..but what child does not have something that shapes their lives...good..bad or indifferent.
A child is a child! To me..a child who is black and white is no different than a child who is Italian and French!

Gee, this sounds a little racial to me! It's all in how you raise them, not in the color around them, I would think.
