Jesus is God, as in our God. But when the scriptures just say God did this or God did that, it is not referring to Jesus. It is referring to the father, for again most of where it says just "God" it is Jehovah.

Again Funches, you have to keep things in context. "God" means being of authority. Therefore we are gods because we have dominion/authority over the beasts of the world and when one is "born again" they become a new being, become children of God.

But Jesus is our "god".

And Jesus is "LORD" God because of the following term definitions.

Lord - one having power and authority over others.

And the term "lord" is used specifically about Jesus towards us, because it shows his authority over us specifically. Because God the father still has authority over Jesus, thus why Jesus refers to him as God.

Jesus is LORD God, he is our god. Again it is capitalized in the scriptures because it is a proper noun, it is the name/reference used referring to Jesus' father. Again, replaces Jehovah from the original scriptures.
