I have a feeling that if Obama really does try to execute this it is going to blow up in his face somehow. People who promote revolution sometimes wind up on the loosing side. Worst is what happens if the banker backed revolt or takeover fails? I think a continent of pissed off Americans is something to fear.

As long as the people, all the people, stand up for freedom and the constitution instead of wimping out to executive orders and handing in their guns, we will prevail. That includes the police and the military. They need to back up freedom and the constitution. |

If it were possible to get at least 60 to 70% of taxpayers to stop paying taxes the government would dry up quick! The moral argument is a good one. People should simply withhold their taxes until such time as certain changes in foreign and/or domestic policy are made (as some of the foreign policy is definitely against international law. Many things like drone attacks in sovereign countries with which the US is not at war are internationally recognized crimes against humanity committed by a criminal administration). Paying taxes can be considered approval, support of and complicity in such policies to the point that taxpayers could be considered in law as aiding and abetting crimes against humanity. That's no small potatoes, as some people at Nuremberg found out the hard way after WWII. I can't speak for the American taxpayer, but I for one could never place myself in contravention of international law, thus making myself open to prosecution like that, especially for such crimes. It should be a simple matter for any American taxpayer to do his moral duty (and maybe save his own *** from possible prosecution in an international court) and withhold his taxes on the basis that he cannot in good conscience put so much as a penny in the hands of an outlaw administration with no respect for the international law. Can you imagine what would happen if even a few million taxpayers withheld their taxes on moral grounds? It would toss the administration over a "fiscal cliff" (instead of the public). |
