I finally received my tax return for 2011 back from the IRS. It puzzles me!!!
They are questioning how many dependents I claimed.
I guess it was because of my response to the question:
"List all dependents."
I replied: 12 million illegal immigrants;
3 million crack heads;
42 million people on food stamps,
2 million people in over 243 prisons; and
535 persons in the U.S. House and Senate, plus
1 useless President."
Evidently, this was NOT an acceptable answer.
I KEEP ASKING MYSELF, WHO DID I MISS?

Maybe you missed some because you were rounding off too much...You should have gone by the most recent statistics. Outside of the Pres. & the House, I'm sure you missed some of the people in the other rounded off figures. slaphead

Try getting more exact numbers and amending your return. rofl

PS: Everyone should file a return as honest as yours. Maybe it'd send a proper message to some of those brain-dead boobs in the bowels of power who keep squandering your money. :thumbsup:

It isn't the size of your assets, or your deductions. It's the reward you get from a well filed return. laugh

I have often advocated a gradual implementation of a program where we earmark a large percent of out taxes when we file our returns as to where they will be spent in gov't - making it gradual to give the paper pushers time to adjust to the reality ....people probably think I am kidding when I say this but I am serious. I am thinking 60/40 - we get to earmark 60 on one or a variety of federal depts and the gov't get the 40 at their discretion

The problem with that is gov't has the money spent 20 years before they get it!

That's OK; it'll only be you, your kids and grandkids that have to pay for it, so what's it to them? Don't you want them to be able to squander the wealth of your nation on whatever they want?...What are you?...unpatriotic or something?...Don't you know that if they couldn't spend your money the streets would fill up with homeless congressmen, senators & presidents begging for coffee money?

Hmmm...I find the idea somewhat entertaining...Why don't you guys derail their gravy train? :laughing:

When toilet seats are $2000 and hammers are $3000, light bulbs over $50 each on the gov't shopping list, sending one of them as payment for taxes should be acceptable as it would help with their budget dilemma!
