Well I am pissed off the world isn't ending tomorrow. I had planned not showing up to work; jumping the cutest guy I could find to drag back to my house to have my way with him, and drinking till I passed out. Now I will just have to wait until Saturday to do all that. 
Why are'nt more women like you?

There's this man strapped to a bed with electrodes stickered to his head. When the light turns on he receives a shock. When the light turns on he receives a shock. This continues for a few days. It's understood that the light turning on will be accompanied by a painful shock.
It's different now though, the light turns on and there's no shock, well sometimes. He waits for it but it doesn't come, well sometimes. Now he's uncertain, he'd rather have the shock then the uncertainty and dread now. This whole 12-21-2012 thing is a mass mind experiment. All the MSM coverage and cash pumped into these hollywood movies is a testament to that. Mind control at it's best |

Damn, I should have saved that for a poem or something. Philip K. Dick wrote in Valis (through the perspective of the main character... which was also him [he's Philip K. Dick and he can do that]) that based on the epistemology of the world "masochist", a masochist can't exist. It is logically impossible to derive pleasure from displeasure. What he said made more sense is that the masochist feels a sense of inevitability in suffering, and therefore finds relief not in the pain, but the knowledge that the pain is already happening and not lying in wait, giving the illusion of false control. In some way, I think we're all masochists. |
