Ive seen countless of women write on their profiles and even on forums about how unserious guys are about relationships in general - however, from my own personal experience evidence suggest otherwise. Every girl ive talked to - regardless of how well we got along - was never close to my level of sincerity in trying to forge a relationship. More often than not she would become inactive after a short period of time, stop logging online etc. entirely. The question isnt whether or not youll find "the one", its a question of your tenacity and your willingness to make sacrifices; I know I am, I just need to find a girl that feels the same way.

Good point OP, you are a younger person and I definitely think younger women are less goal oriented about growing a long distance relationship.
From my exp. long distance relationships (and local ones for that matter) require a lot of focus and trust. Neither of these things happen for me very quickly and I've matured from the instant gratification stage so... I guess the best thing I can say is be clear with your expectations. Everyone has these expectations of people but we don't tend to say what they are until after they've been disappointed.

Best wishes.

People shouldn't say that they want to be in a long distance relationship, if they truly don't want to be. Both need to be honest right from the start. Sounds like you can handle long distance better than I ever could. laugh. Just look for someone who ACTUALLY wants a long distance relationship. Good luck :)
