A very interesting post indeed!

Well, I have had several scammers myself.Having spent a considerable amount of time at senior level in the professional security industry I am able to recognise them a mile off, thankfully. I have blocked and reported: sadly, scammers are a downside to internet dating.

But, having said that, there are some very genuine and sincere people on here, so please don't lose heart.

Regards.

If they try to get you off the site within just a few e-mails... At the bottom of their e-mail click on the report button and let Admin check them out.... If they are a scammer they will go by by and save you and a lot of others wasted time in talking to them...

If they say they will re-locate within the first few e-mails most likely a scammer as well...

Check for the red flags when in doubt report them if they are not then it will not do any harm...bigsmile

Most of the time they will ask you for your personal e-mail within the first few e-mails or yahoo addy...

Look at their profile many will have the town and states messed up.. I seem to find that most are 5'8, widowed and have small kids well at least they say they do..

They are willing to relocate like it is nothing...

Many have profession as engineer or self employed....

They tend to call you Angel, baby , sweetie right off the bat and they fall in love really easy at that..

After a while you can catch the scammers pretty easy..

Never leave the site there is nothing wrong with the e-mails here if they say they live in your area... Well I always ask if they live there now? Normally they will say they are off on a peace keeping mission or out of the country due to their job ect...

Heck if they say they live in my area I tell them lets set up a lunch meet...

There are many that are posing as Military be very careful about handing out phone numbers or personal e-mail...

They will give you the excuse they don't sign on here much. The reason they want you to go to yahoo is due to there is no one you can complain too about scammers there. On the sites that actually have Moderators and Admin that actually look into these issues and bust them...

So have fun but be careful....I assure you even the smartest ones at time gets fooled by scammers...whoa

I had a scammer that said he was a widow as his wife died at 911. Made me want to puke seeing a scammer using that as a way to try and scam someone. Lots of red flags when I read the profile and yes the first email he wanted to exchange emails.

Yes it's sick if someone use 911 as a trick to scam women. They let anybody on this site.
