I recently dated a guy who is very marriage minded, but he also made it clear that he would expect to be "The Man" and make all the final decisions in the relationship.I honestly felt that someday I'd like to get married again, but the longer I'm single and making my own choices without having to consider another persons opinions or needs, the more I think i'm gonna stay single.

I've always said that I would get married if I met a woman who truly just knocked my socks off. I dunno if that will happen, and if it does then I'd give up the single life. Sure. Making my own choices, not worrying about a significant other and her feelings towards my decisions, watching what I want, doing what I want....those are all nice to have. However, I really was happy in my marriage when it was a "good marriage", and I can admit I miss that feeling. But I am wary of just getting married cause I am lonely (which I feel a lot of people do get married for this reason).

I don't think I gave up much getting married, probably because I am a prick. Maybe I gave up my sitting in the bathroom, eating and watching TV all at the same time (she who must be obeyed wouldn't have it) I did give up a lot for the kids though, but then again I wanted to do that.

I always thought I wanted to get married, then I got married. After that, I will never put myself through that, it was a terrible time of my life and I am so much better being by myself.
I am a grown up and IF you don't want to marry me and have a child, then keep it in your pants!! I don't do one night stands. I only do relationships. I honestly don't even know if I truly believe in love anymore..men want one thing and most women want something else?
