I don’t know how to get the words out!

I see them like a viewfinder in my head
I feel you gripped tight around my chest
My stomach is nauseous as I try to speak
I’m frustrated how you make me feel so weak
Is this love that portends me to think I might die?
It is madness when all I can do freely is thirst and cry
My soul craves your touch so much you brought me luck
Since you’ve been gone I’ve realized on you I’m hung up
I try to forget how you make me smile with your eyes
From my heart teaching me to reach for the sky
You appeared with confidence on your face
Reflecting pools of light a heart of grace
Showing me what it means to be a friend
Our lives go on now but to what end?
