Nope.
Takes knowing them, for me. |

I agree with Sophie. I have to know the person, not just see them.

No, I was very much attracted to Him and infatuated but it was never love at first site. |

Yes, the first time I laid eyes on myself in the mirror.

Have you ever fallen in love at first sight? how did it happen? how did it end? It was love at first sight when I saw my newborn son for the first time. I was a proud daddy. I still am. It was love at first sight when I finally met my little sister after missing out on the first 11 years of her life. I was a proud big brother. |

I think that's much different than the OP is probably talking about. |

Lust at first sight yes. Love though?
Naw... |

Lust at first sight, yes..Love at first sight?? NO! Gotta take a little time for that to happen. I couldn't love somebody without knowing them and what they're all about.

I never did. I am weary and trustful, but not naive. People have many colors and they don't all surface at once. It would be nice though especially if they loved you back at first sight.

Have you ever fallen in love at first sight? how did it happen? how did it end? Nope, that's how one gets phucked over, for life too. It turns a relatively good guy into a socially depressed version of who they really are. Normally what I keep hearing is guys who say when a girl walks into a room, without talking or saying a word to them, "they just know" they are going to be with them. No you don't. You are lusting after their looks, which fade, leaving a terrible persona behind. Now you're phucked thinking most women are like this. As cliche as this sounds, a strong heart is what you ultimately fall in love with. It ends with self-hatred and booze. |

Yes. It was wham, bam, thank you ma'm. Head over heels in love. Took all of 30 seconds. I am still very in love with her, after 5 years. But...she is already happy in a relationship so she does not know.

The first time I laid eyes on Samantha Fox (it was her "Touch Me" video), I was so in love. Okay, so it was lust, but for a kid of 12, it felt like love. How did it end? Reality set in.

I think people mistake lust at first sight with love at first sight.

I used to, all the time. Some of them, looking back, were obviously lust though I was too stupid to understand that at the time. But others were cases where I saw a guy who looked attractive, had a chance to talk with him, and found him even more desirable after that. Those ones were the long-term ones. Too bad none of them were long term enough.

Would you believe in a love at first sight? Yes I'm certain that it happens all the time. What do you see when turn out the light? I can't tell you but I know that its mine. Ooh, I by with a little help from my friends; gonna try with a little help from my friends... Do you need anybody? I want somebody to love.

Have you ever fallen in love at first sight? how did it happen? how did it end? Normally what I keep hearing is guys who say when a girl walks into a room, without talking or saying a word to them, "they just know" they are going to be with them. Usually I know she doesn't want to talk to me. What I like is when I say 'Hi' to a woman and they just "smile politely" and walk away if they even say anything to me tepidly. The ONE woman I came closest to marrying actually talked to me. That whole "saying Hi and she says nothing back, she is just being shy," is pure unmitigated BULLSHITTE! If anything it is just anti social and rude! Having worked at the Sketcher's WHQ I got a lot of the silent treatment. Yes some women there would say Hi back but the preponderance of the women there were just too busy to acknowledge someone even socially. (BUSY, cough cough, give anyone a good job and decent pay and it gets to their head! I just installed and maintained their aquatic systems!) Love at first Sight is a FEMALE thing and overly romanticized CRAP! People need to stop trying to live a romantic fantasy! I say Hi and if she walks away I know right where I stand. The woman I have a chance with is the one who talks to me. Not the one who just says HI! |

I think people mistake lust at first sight with love at first sight. The TV is to be blamed. As for the question, I don't love based on what the eye sees rather on what the heart feels. Thus, even at 100th sight I might not still love what is pleasing to the eyes. |
