In your OP you rant about how wicked global leaders are, and you claim that NASA said something particular without providing any evidence to support your claim. I saw a bad attitude expressed in the OP, and I responded to it. I also provided evidence that contradicts your claim about NASA.

I don't doubt there WILL be an extinction level event in the near future, but that will be our doing, not Mother Nature's.

The human race has a talent for killing that just keeps getting better as time marches on. Now that we can finally kill everyone on the planet I have no doubt that we will; we have demonstrated time and time again that we are that stupid...Dominant species indeed!...HAH!

Rumors are rumors. If I were calling it facts, I would feel more compelled to cite evidence. I don't feel compelled to cite my sources for "rumors."

Nuclear Testing in the Pacific is documented in History. The more recent weapons tests. I am guessing are probably classified, but are being blamed for the recent deaths and beaching of whales, dolphins, fish etc. (Unless you would rather blame it on the Devil or God or something else.)

If a major catastrophic global event is caused by weapons testing in the Pacific Ocean, (by humans) it can certainly be averted.

If it's a prediction of a meteor, I guess we are out of luck.

Mind you these "rumors" are coming from the web bot, and other forecasters like remote viewers and certainly are only rumors, and not scientific forecasting.

However, it is a matter of historical record that nuclear testing of weapons has been practiced in the Pacific Ocean in the past.

Recently I have been inquiring about these strange Truck convoys that have been coming through our town with police escorts. They come through Lamar and don't stop at lights or anything. When someone asked what they were hauling, they were told "its nobody's business."

So I get this from the Colorado State Patrol:
"These loads are carrying power plant generators and large motors for either mining operations or green energy plants in other States. The loads are moving through Colorado from Texas. We may see a number of these loads come through over the next few months. Each load is required to be permitted and must follow a strict set of standards to move through our State.

Of course I was told that the escorts were to insure public safety etc. and was the result of a new rule for wide loads.

Dodo, why do you assume that just because someone is aware of the corruption in government, and talks about it, that their lives are "miserable?" LOL That's hilarious. (And it is a huge assumption or fabrication on your part.)

What I see in most people around me are people who are sleep walking or people with their heads in the sand. Personally, I am disappointed that people are so hateful and corrupt. In my daily life I do what ever I can to help people I meet on a one on one basis. I know that no one can save the world from itself.

Only with regard to the thread title...I don't know that honesty and politics is a myth, since most myths have a grain of truth in them. In this case I think that grain is missing. Honesty and politics are like oil and water; they don't mix. In fact they probably shouldn't even be used in the same sentence.
