i just wrote in another persons blog here the same thing. if i was isreal and someone was bombing me and i know i could swat those idiots like flies?,, it would have been over by now. lets disaplace the arabs for 4ooo years and see how they like it! no im not jewish, im italian catholic. but whats the difference! |

As the deadly conflict in the Middle East continues, tonight CNN's Piers Morgan will interview Shimon Peres, allowing the president of Israel to offer a response amidst those that disapprove of his nation's airstrikes into Gaza:
“Well you know, whoever criticizes us should suggest an alternative – we started with great restraint. In the last six days thousand two hundred [1,200] missiles fall on our civilians lives, on mothers, on children," says Peres. "We tried to do it with restraint, but apparently they hide themselves in private homes, even in mosques, and we are trying to do our best not to hit any civilian on the other side, but unfortunately a war is a war and they can stop it in one minute if they’ll stop shooting, there won’t be any causalities." Joining Piers Morgan Tonight from his home in Jerusalem, Peres insists that the Palestinian militant group Hamas is most to blame for initiating the violence and death that has dominated the news cycle since last week: "We don't know why all of a sudden they start to shoot. I’m not talking about civilians only, but at the children ... you know, they start to shoot at eight o’clock in the morning when children go to the school. Why? What for? I mean it is not in our hand, you know, that – to terrorism, to fight terrorism is not a pleasant experience, and they don't care," he tells Morgan. It will probably happen because the leaders of Hamas was just on television and he stated that they were not going to stop launching rockets until their demands are met. Which is rather fool hearty.
He also said that Israel attacked first. Of course Israel claims otherwise. Humans are so immature. And stupid. Meanwhile I'm making plans for a doomsday party on December 21, 2012. I'll probably be disappointed and the world won't end.

Some facts about American aid and political support to Israel.... The financial reciprocity the US receives from aid to Israel is unmatched by any and all aid we provide to other countries.... Much of the money that the US gives Israel is used by Israel to purchase military and civilian goods and services from us meaning American aid to Israel is recycled back into our economy. Nearly 90% of US aid to Israel is military and Israel spends about 75% of that buying US goods...Israel leads the world in collecting intelligence on terrorist groups, intelligence which it provides to the US....Israeli and American intelligence agencies continuously exchange information, analyses, and operational experience in counter-terrorism and counter-proliferation...Israel’s enemies are America’s enemies, they fight the same Islamo-fascist terrorism that brought down our World Trade Center, blew up a large chunk of the Pentagon, killed more than 3,000 innocent American civilians, and cost our economy billions of dollars... Leigh!  I respectfully disagree with this, It is Israeli-American military cooperation and blind support that has put us ALL in danger for the last 20 years, prior to 9/11 even. Your economy continues to suffer because of it, innocence continues to be the largest victim and true rogue countries are taking hold through democratic means? It's a mess... Let's treat it as such.
