General Allen has now been brought into this $hitstorm and his new command has been put on hold because of his involvement with one of the women in this case.

How many decorated heros are going to be taken out and distinguished careers ruined to cover Obama's a$$?

so, someone in a high office cant keep their pants on, and thats OBamas fault too?

lol,, amazing

No taking the fall so he doesn't have to testify against Obama and can plead the 5th. Distracting the nation so the hearing on Libya go unnoticed. The timing of this isn't just coincidence. Obama has known about this for months.

on what planet does his resigning keep him from having to testify?

and on what planet is he required to resign to plead the fifth?

resignation has NOTHING to do with either thing,,,,,

YEP he was.

His excuse was an affair?

That's so much bull crap. Since when does anyone care about affairs any more?

apparently he does

I think its tragic and noble

in an occupation that deals with so much confidential intelligence, its very irresponsible to let oneself have an affair because of the risk of leaked intelligence and blackmail,,,etc,,,,

Seriously? Tragic and Noble????

First there is nothing "noble" about an affair. Second, the officials knew about the affair BEFORE THE ELECTION and yet they all waited until after the election to deal with it, and to resign so as not to effect the outcome of the election.

There is nothing "Noble" about any of this.

the affair wasnt noble, stepping down was

the affair was what was referred to as 'tragic'

Stepping down was not noble. He got caught, and he was told when to step down. He should have "stepped down" as soon as he got caught instead of waiting until after the election.

It is all about politics.

Also, a car accident is "tragic." An affair is an intentional decision. Its just stupid.

For him, getting caught was "tragic."

Im not personally acquainted enough with his life or decisions to know any of that is true

so I just give him the benefit of the doubt,, politicians have done worse and not lost their jobs or been willing to 'step down' over it,,,

an affair still has victims, so it is tragic,,,

If you read the news you would know that the FBI knew about the affair long before the election was over. Someone decided that it would hurt Obama's chances, so they kept is secret and he did not 'step down' until after the election. That is a political move.

I don't give someone the "benefit of the doubt" when I have no doubt that they postponed releasing the information of the affair until after the election for political reasons.

An affair is not "tragic." (It's what they call "unfortunate.")

Getting caught is very "unfortunate."

Divorce, affairs, etc. happen in many people's daily lives due to their own choices and how they live their lives. How they react and deal with it is their responsibility. If you want to feel sorry for him and his family and call them victims, that's your decision.

The point is, an affair with the head of the CIA ACCORDING TO LAW has to be reported and dealt with as a matter of national security. THEY DID NOT DO THAT in a timely manner because of how it might hurt the Obama campaign.

I don't give a rat's rear about the victims of his infidelity. That has nothing to do with me or national security or corrupt politicians covering things up for political reasons.
