I think it's easy to spot a fraud just online by paying attention to what they say. If people can't send pics or talk to you on the phone either, red flag.

Trust it like you would a priest with candy in his pockets. Talk about disparaging remarks! |

how far can we rely on this online dating? You can not rely on it. Online dating is like playing Lotto. |

If your strictly depending on meeting someone online . . . .good luck...my best advice is to get involved in your community doing things you enjoy and you will meet like minded people.

Online dating is just another hook in the water. It's shouldn't be the only thing you're doing to find someone.

In the few years I've been doing this I've been on a handful of dates. Most of them didn't go anywhere, one lasted but never turned into anything serious, and one became a relationship that lasted almost a year.
I used to make fun of people that used these sites. However, like a lot of people these days, I don't get out of the house and socialize as often as I used to. Since there's little chance of meeting a woman while I'm sitting in my living room by myself, here I am on the internet. To sum it up, stick with it and you'll eventually meet some people. I think that for us guys the in-person dates are much more far and few between than for the women and it can be quite aggravating sending message after message with no response. Sooner or later somebody will respond though and maybe something will become of it. It's sort of like online job hunting, just throw out a bunch of resume's, put yourself out there, and see what happens but don't expect too much. |
