I, myself, am wary of talking to people without a genuine photo of themselves. It comes across to me as TOO mysterious, and quite wishy-washy. How do they expect to meet you, if you don't know what they look like? Or maybe they're scared that the person they're secretly married to, will find their photo and find them out.

why do people fear to talk to strangers with no pics??? What I don't get is...people with nothing on their profile whatsoever, no pic..invite me to do those stupid cam chats with them. It's more of a damn annoyance than anything. I despise is. Sorry. I think the 'block' button is waaaay too nice. There should be a 'F**k Off!' button instead.

why do people fear to talk to strangers with no pics??? What I don't get is...people with nothing on their profile whatsoever, no pic..invite me to do those stupid cam chats with them. I dont mind just chatting someone up who has no posted photo of themselves. I also have no plans to meet anyone either. If I was interested in face to face encounters then yes, I would find it necessary to see a current photo for safety reasons.

But discontinued it, because a lot, and I mean, a LOT of guys who had been sent that button figured it's an invitation for sex.
