Actually, if they weren't willing to put in much effort, then I for one wouldn't even bother getting upset over some stranger. You hardly knew him anyway. So why let it break you down? People like that, stay like that. They never redeem themselves and are full of bs. I wouldn't even waste my time wondering about them.

something I do know about myself .....I am extremely attracted to handsome dysfunctional men....I guess I am a caregiver ...rescuer...and know it's wrong ..hopefully I can break the habit....

This post makes me think of a few dates I wished the guy had NOT shown up.

Try to think of a no show as a Guardian Angel was looking out for you and got in this person's way.

One thing I have learned over the years is that invariably when you do pick up on "why" in case of a flake out date you are usually really glad you did end up not going out.

I have found that 90% of the "look see" coffee dates are a real waste of time anyway. If a guy does not have the time or desire to actually plan a real date he is just messing around.

With computer cameras either built in or add on for less than twenty bucks and Wifi and Skype and other video phone services free there is really no reason not to wait until you actually lay eyes on someone before you meet them. That narrows the field sure but sure beats spinning your wheels for nothing.
