I find it amusing how you tell someone exactly what you are and are not looking for and they still have the nerve to call you a liar. Can't win either way.
I suppose you are back to the guessing game. I would guess that most of them people are not hanging around the forums making friends though. Good luck with your thoughts.

My goal is to have a long term committed relationship with a man I love and who loves me. A man who wants the same things in life that I do. Simplicity, peace and lots of laughter. A man who will both laugh and cry with me as we spend the second half of our life just....being. But, primarily being grateful for this amazing time we have here in this life.

But, since I'm pretty sure that relationship will start with friendship....that is what I'm currently looking for.

If I just wanted to get laid I wouldn't need to find someone online to help me out with that.

Good friends here though, good people...The God's would be graced with their presence, well, for the most part I'm sure anyway.

Just a hook-up is boring. If I wanted to just hook up I'd go out and hook up with someone. I've had some success on the site having been in a couple of relationships with people met here. But mostly I come here cause its an awesome community of people and I have been here for a while now so I've seen alot of cool people come and go. So really just here to hang out.

Most of us will admit deep down we do just not on here...

I came here looking for exercise partners. Didn't find one. Instead I found a place where real people hang out. People who welcome others into a unique family of friends. Even odd people like me. I assume someone is just hooking up. But you can do that at a bar. Don't need a site to do that.

Came on here to help a friend with something....found the man who makes my life complete.

If a hook-up is in the mix of finding a friend then, hell, I'm all for it. If a friend ship never gets to a "relationship" and never becomes sexual then I'm all for it. If it starts and ends with only sex and we never talk, then I'm all for it.

How can you place a destination like "the beach" on a social function. The destination is never reached it is only approached.
