That, tacked on to a repub senate that allowed no job initiatives to pass. If they had offered up any of their own, it would paint another picture entirely, but as it stands, the senate appears to be more interested in making Obama look bad than helping the country.

huh The U.S. Senate has been in the control of the Democratic Party during the entire Obama presidency, and the Democratic Party controlled both houses of Congress for the first two years of the Obama presidency. The Affordable Care Act was passed by Congress without it having any Republican support.

Not saying much though since Lieberman isn't really a dem and the blue dog dems vote republican more often then dem.

And then the President, bless his naive heart, thought he could get bipartisan support for what the American people needed.noway Silly man....huh

huh The Affordable Care Act was passed without bi-partisan support, and yet you blame Republicans for the failure of Congressional Democrats to get passed things that Democrats want. Go figure. whoa

its not that, both sides get things they want, and both sides dont get other things they want

but it SEEMS like the dems in majority get things passed without republican support

things that when proposed by REPUBLICANS do get their support

and it seems like republicans get alot more SUPPORT from dems when they are in the majority

which may be a tendency for dems to work better across the aisl,,

but again,, there can be as many perceptions as there are numbers to compare,,,,
