Why not broaden your horizon and look to the northern part of Sydney.Its only an hours drive outside rush hour. It takes that long to get in the centre of Sydney from here and then you have to find a park.On top of that the prices at restaurants have become ridiculous. Apart from that the fishing and beach walks are better on the Central Coast. I would travel that short time to see someone.
