Just mainly tired..have a show going on. Doing laundry so I can leave after the show tomorrow night for the lake..going to start cleaning up my lake front. My g-son and one of his friends went down today..I have to hurry up and get there so see they don't wreck the house!

Are you ready for Christmas yet?

Yes, I've been pretty busy..no, I'm not even thinking about Christmas..
My youngest son got burned last night..I need him to get over that..and I just have 'stuff' to do. Ya know?

Do you mean burnt by fire or somebody screwed him?
I know I am not in thre mood much for Christmas either, but I will say Billy is going to be mighty spoiled thiS year. bOUGHT HIM all kinds of things already.

Burnt by fire....he got too close to a propane heater and it caught his pants on fire..2nd and 3rd degree burns from the knee up..won't let me take care of him..says he tough..MEN!!! Going top ring his fool neck!!!
I'm glad Billy has you this Christmas.

Billy is only four he doesn,t understand. A good family friend of their s took him to the Sants Claus and two Mothers with their kids sat down beside him. He went into a real tatrum and said he hates Santa Claus. Him and his dad will be here Christmas Eve.

it's a tough age top lose a parent..because he doesn't understand why she had to leave him..probably mad about it too..just love him a lot and he'll be ok in time.

Eddie's boys were 10 and 12 when they lost their mother ..they were with her through the cancer, and still were angry about it, even understanding the whys of it. Death is harder for really young..but they are also resilient and can overcome most things if they have people who love them close by.

he is in counselling so that should help too.w e are all there for him and pitching in whenever needed.
His Dad is having a really rough time coping with everything too.

your son must be in so much pain. Even a little burn really hurts , this must be awful.

He has a high tolerance for pain..takes after me that way..I actually hope that he hurts a lot ..then we'll know he has no nerve damage..thanks for your concern
I just don't want him to get an infection.

If I hadn't already made plans to go to the lake, I'd stay here..but things are in motion and he's insisting that I go..At least Eddie will be here and can look after him for me.

I'm sure Billy's dad is having a hard time coping.i. must be horrible for him.

Going to bed now...have a full day tomorrow and a long weekend ahead..talk to you Tuesday

Infection is the major issue, and is more likely to cause death than the burn itself.
No matter how tough you are, them injuries hurt. Even more so through the healing process.
And have to live with some limitations every day (lots of sunscreen, floppy hats, long sleeves, even in summer.
So, here's to praying that his injuries are not so severe.
