 I've been to the lake..had to take care of some business there and mow my yard.

I've had a busy week, too. But last night's "busy" was fun...went to the Paul McCartney concert - probably about 65% Beatles stuff and very little Wings stuff (which suited me fine!) He sang for about 3 hours, including 2 encores. At almost 70 years old, Sir Paul can still put on a show!

He sang for about 3 hours, including 2 encores. At almost 70 years old, Sir Paul can still put on a show!  yuck...I never liked the Beatles!

My musical tastes are widely varied...and the early Beatles were fantastic, IMHO. They really did change the face of music...
On some level, I'm glad I got to see this legend just for the sake of having done so. It's kind of a "bucket list" item I didn't know was on the list! LOL! In two weeks, I'm back to cheap tickets, Texas country in a beer joint. Roger Creager on December 1st (with Bri Bagwell.) |

I was born country..I think I was born in a flannel shirt, boots and jeans..somehow those Brits with the bowl haircuts just never interested me when they first showed up over here..too noisy and made my ears hurt oh, and UGLY!!!!!

I might not have if a friend hadn't suggested (shall I say pushed and bought the tickets for the posse, then told us how much we owed - egads!) But I can't say I'm sorry I went. |

Would have enjoyed that..instead...a deer decided to commit suicide with my car...75mph left lane. I do not have transportation...don't know what I will do about Miles' wedding...kinda still in shock.
