Okay... I am contemplating why it happened that way and why it's so biased. Is it because English was born in the cold climate? Why is heat associated with happiness? Why do people get happy when they see the sun? I get happy when I see the fog coming over and when I can breathe them inside. Ofcourse, I don't like them when they spoil the view from the grizzly peak. Why do they say - it's nice and sunny. This world is so biased towards warmth, heat and sun. I grew up in a hot weather, so I don't like sun too much. People walk on the streets carrying umbrellas so that they don't get fainted by the hot sun. People plant trees so they could rest in the shade. So, being cold can be happy and sexy. Do you feel horny when you're inside a sauna? You don't! Grow out of this thought.

I hate hot weather too....it makes me irritable and grouchy and lazy and makes me stay in the air conditioning with no clothes on!

yay.. there are people that don't like heat too much! I feel I'm not alone. I also thought about how people attribute heat to a positive emotion, and coldness to a negative emotion. For eg. 'She was being cold' is used to mean that she was being mean. 'warm words' means comforting. Not fair.

I guess if you don't live in a climate that changes season's too much, you grow to hate the heat.Here in New England, we worship the sun, winters are so long and dreary.

Well I can only assume it's because When things get sexy, one's body temperature rises. The phrase "Hot" as a slang term was primarily sexual in background, I don't know why it migrated to universal happiness.

I think women get like that in the summer, not men. We have to wear more clothing than women and while they are half dressed, they see us staring at them and get turned on. They feel sexy so they want to play a little bit. Meanwhile, I believe the summer sucks. It is hot, people are sweaty, and those who do not practice good hygiene unfortunately ruins the thought of entertaining others during this "Summer Heat" encounters. There, I said it.

I love the warm weather and humid weather, makes ur skin look good and cold weather tends to make me itchy and cold and miserable and makes my bones hurt and to look outside and have it be gray and cold is depressing, u dont want to get outts bed because its cold, when its warm u jyst wanna get out there and enjoy the weather, bbq, yes the smell of sun tan lotion, the beach, kids playing outside in the sprinklers, Iced tea, waterfights, and yummy watermelon!!!! i love the heat

I love spring weather, not to hot, not too cool, and it doesn't mess with my hair in any damaging way.

I don't understand the part about men having to wear more clothing than women though.....men wear shorts, women wear shorts.......men are allowed to wear no shirt........women???? uhhhhhhhhh guess again!!!
