Democracy Now To Feature Third Party Candidates On Their Broadcast Of Tonight's Presidential Debate.

According to the organization's founder, Amy Goodman, they are going to broadcast the debate online, and then once the question has been asked on the debates and the two clowndidates have answered, they are going to pause it, and have the third party candidates live in the DemocracyNow studios, and give them a chance to answer the questions to the American people.

Pretty cool, huh? That's the debate I will be watching tonight.

Tune in to www.democracynow.org tonight!

Free & Equal Elections Foundation Announces Numerous New Sponsors Promoting the "3rd Party" 2012 Presidential Debate

Free & Equal Calls for More Sponsors Across the Political Spectrum - 2012 Presidential Debate to be Broadcast Worldwide Online and via Satellite

Free and Equal Elections Foundation today announced numerous media and grassroots organizations that have signed on as sponsors for the 2012 Presidential debate.

Hosted by Free and Equal, the debate will take place at the University Club of Chicago on October 23.

Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson, Green Party candidate Jill Stein, Constitution Party candidate Virgil Goode, and Justice Party candidate Rocky Anderson have all confirmed their participation in the debate.

This debate is the only 2012 Presidential Debate featuring four candidates. The top six candidates were invited to participate. Democratic Party candidate and incumbent Barack Obama and Republican Party candidate Mitt Romney are welcome to participate in this historic debate. The moderator will be announced shortly.

The Commission on Presidential Debates sponsors all mainstream presidential debates and executes debate contracts drafted by the Republican and Democratic campaigns. Debate contracts contain secretive provisions that sanitize debates, disregard viable third-party and independent candidates, and prohibit participation in other independent debates.

“The Commission’s secret debate contracts with the top two parties marginalizes voters by not permitting them to hear ideas and opinions from other viable third-party and independent candidates that are on the ballot,” stated Christina Tobin, founder and chair of Free and Equal. “It’s the same conduct we see every presidential election season. It’s also why we are eager to obtain more sponsors across the political spectrum, so more people across the country and the world can be reached and learn fresh ideas outside the two-party duopoly.”

Free and Equal’s 2012 Presidential Debate sponsors span the political spectrum and the globe of grassroots organizations and media who are uniting to solve our nation’s problems. Current sponsors include Link TV, The Josh Tolley Show, Ballot Access News, Come Home America, Owl Creek Gazette, Free Talk Live, Securing Liberty Radio, 1787 Network, Voice of Russia, Freedom’s Phoenix,Muslims for Liberty, National Constitution Party, The Justice Party, Blue Republicans, Restore the Republic, Re-Tea Party, Free the Vote NC, We the People, Grassroots for Liberty, New Progressive Alliance, Libertarian Party of Illinois, Liberty Candidates, Liberty Avengers, Liberty Chat, Cook County Green Party, Marin Libertarian Party, Rockford Tea Party, Dangerous Conversation, Wide Awake News, and Liberty Hour.

“We are actively seeking more sponsors who are willing to promote the debate in return,” stated Tobin. “Questions will include foreign policy, the economy, civil rights, and other critical policy issues that affect not only Americans, but the rest of the world as well.”

The debate will be broadcast via satellite and online at http://freeandequal.org/live and Link TV. Several additional live feeds will be announced shortly as Free & Equal finalizes its media sponsors.

Change you can believe in.....None of the above! laugh

I cringe when either of them speak. How can you expect anything to change when you repeat the same failed policies of the past, or try to fix a gushing artery with a bandaid?

They're both digging and throwing their dirt in the other ones hole.... like snakes chasing their own tails!

so far it seems to me to be very poorly moderated

obama doesn't seem as articulate as he normally is

romney seems to be more in charge of the debate than the moderator

Anderson is doing pretty well.
Barry went to take a leak so, they are rerunning his last statement about health insurance.

That moderator ain't doing his job.

He allowed Hussein to ramble and stutter an extra two minutes past his time.

A rhetorical shadow boxing match.

So did anyone actually hear even a hint of how anything was going to change?

What I heard was a lot of defending the same campaign BS R has been spouting all year (without all the extra promises thrown in for whichever state or group he was addressing), and the "idea of how it's supposed to work but doesn't" from O.

All-in-all, I think I would have enjoyed watching a golf match better, and probably learned more!

The Green and Constitution candidates were the only ones with anything different to consider, and I still wouldn't vote for either of them.

I'll write in RP or vote GJ. At least they have records you can expect some change from!

Anderson did fair.

Stein talked way too much. Said nothing and did a lot of boring history.

It was comical watching barry avoiding eye contact. The only time he made eye contact was when he was visibly pissed.

And, he didn't have his Suthun Draaawwwl he faked in NO.

Wuz up wit dat?
