I do love the other quiznos commercials though -
At quiznos we toast our subs.. does that make us weird? ..or pioneers? Exhibit A: early man...
Gah! You've been cursed to wear the skins of a goat!
- Nay my good friend! These are PANTS! No more thorns in your bum!
- I fear change... I will keep my bush.... frown

I have an Idea, how about someone calmly saying "Eat our food, it's good."

if that doesn't work, how about "Eat our food, or I'll shoot this Rabbit."

How about a new topic? This site appears to be more driven to chatting than actual being a singles dating site. Am I correct or not. I am new to the site, but do not see anyone actually communicating in a good or bad way.

There's lots of communicating going on here, and lots of new topics.

FAST FOOD COMMERCIALS DON'T Bother me none, coz I don't watch tv. (DVDs, lots.)

What I hate about fast food is that it's not cheap any more, it's at least 80% in price to regular restaurant meals of comparable food in calories and quantities.

Another thing I hate about it is that you spend the same amount of time standing in the line-up to order, and than waiting for it to be prepared, less 20% time, than in regular restaurants.

In the past (14 years and before)

Fast food

- cheap

- fast

- bad

Restaurant food

- expensive

- slow

- good

------------------

Since fourteen years ago to present:

Fast food

80% of price of regular food

- 80% of waiting time from going into the restaurant to first bite compared to slow food restaurants

- food bad

Restauarant food:

- expensive

- slow

- good

----------------

Which means that if you don't mind the extra 20% in price and an extra 20% in waiting time, then restaurant food is for you. In the past the percentage difference used to be 50% to 70%, but now that it's down to 20%, I hardly ever eat in fast food places.

-----------------

The only good deal going is mall food, esp. ethnic like Greek, Mediterranean, Italian, and Chinese. These places pack the plate, you have a choice, and each and every one serves good food.

Other than the extra sugar and MSG in Chinese, the mall food is also prepared well, is healthy and hearty.

I am talking about pre-cooked meals, that are served within a half hour or hour after cooking, are in trays from which the servers put them on your plate, and you run with that after paying for it. First of all, you see the food before you buy it; then it's cheaper in most places than a Big Mac, and the only problem is that you need to eat non-finger food with plastic cutlery and you get a slice of toilet paper for napkin.

I got into the habit of carrying an iron spoon, a fork, and a knife in my knapsack. I hate it when I have to pick out the prongs of the fork from my mouth, or can't pick up the food items with it, or the spoon or knife breaks into two in you hand. Some bend, some break, none are good.

I'm in Canada; in the USA they give much better plastic cutlery, you can actually use that for what it is intended.

Apple juice can kill you just as easily, you know.

But enjoy, enjoy.

Aside from fast mall food I like ethnic deli food that they give you or you put together. Not so much in smaller towns, but in Toronto there were German, Vegetarian, Healthifood, Hungarian, Polish, ethnic delis with really good food. Amount: Varying, speed: fast, price: 50% cheaper than restauarant food, and 30 percent cheaper than BigMac or KFC, for equivalent amount or calories, taste: excellent.

KFC had in these parts the Tooney Tuesdays, a basic meal for two dollars, then for $2.22, then god only knows what, because I stopped going even at that price.

Here in london there is only one ethnic-deli type place, the Covent Markent, but they gouge you there. One place has only two items on the menu, I kid you not, it's excellent, i can get totally full for $4, but you can't go there every day. The food is called burek, there is meat-filled, and sweet (cream cheese filled) burek. They give you a side dish of sour cream if you buy the meat burek.

At this Covet Market they bill the items as home-grown, really fresh, and cheap, and the first day I browsed, there was a green grocer, who sold Mexican cherry tomato, Bulgarian Corn, and Fiji Island eskimo pies, at higher prices than any of the supermarkets in the same town. He did not even change the wrapping, he just sold the exact same items that big grocery stores did.

That angered me, but hey. Now I am just angry about it, they should not lie and cheat and steal. That they should not do. One out of the three, okay, but not all three or even two of the three at the same time and in the same respect.

There is another place I like there, and a single meal costs me $20, but every bite is delicious. It's Mediterranean type food, but not so specifically. healthy, that's for sure.
