We shall remember
All you have said.
Stories of the war,
How our God has blessed.

How you loved each of us,
Cherished Grandma Lue.
We really understood
Faithful, always true.

Every day we were together
You impressed us to know
What really mattered most
Would be the seeds to sow.

You taught us of freedom,
How great our country was.
Show respect, fly the flag
Do it right just because.

To the next your flag entrusted
With purpose unafraid.
Freedom’s price not withheld
