Good Byes

Of all remembering left behind
cherished far above
will be the picture filled of us
of times we shared our love.

Faded shades of black and white
greys with hues of rose
treasured truths held on to
seems not enough of those.

Through the years were moments
some sad some joyous times
babies weddings parties
acknowledgments resigned.

Sadly some are lost where
broken shattered dreams
easily were put aside
by prideful hurtful schemes

Time's a distance doesn't heal
tears our lives apart
placing deep in hiding
rejecting tender hearts.

So one memory I'd like to keep
held in God's own hand
knowing it is by His Grace
together we shall stand.
