Bishop: Dem Party has 'committed itself to evil'

'To equate being black with sinful behavior is an insult to the black community'
Published: 17 hours ago

Democrats have been moving further and further away from the Judeo-Christian values that built this nation, and formally embracing homosexual marriage should be the step that triggers a mass exodus from the Democratic Party, according to Bishop E.W. Jackson, a longtime minister and a former candidate for U.S. Senate in Virginia.

Jackson was raised as a Democrat, but he left the party over cultural issues in 1980. At the time, he considered it a personal decision and did not feel compelled to urge others to follow his example. In the intervening 32 years, however, Jackson said the Democrats have placed themselves increasingly at odds with scripture, and a formal endorsement of homosexual marriage in the 2012 platform was the point of no return. Jackson said while there are many issues of concern in this campaign, Americans need to separate themselves from a party that “seems to have clearly committed itself to evil.”

The bishop is also appalled that Democrats and other supporters of the homosexual movement frequently compare it to the civil rights crusade for blacks in the 1950s and 1960s. He said race is a physiological characteristic, and sexual orientation is a behavior that has been deemed sinful by God.

“To equate, therefore, being black with sinful, wrong behavior is an insult to the black community,” said Jackson. “I’ve talked with a lot of black folks across this country, all of whom sense and feel that insult but they just haven’t had a platform to say anything about it.”

When reminded that Republicans Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan have both endorsed homosexuals serving openly in the military, Jackson makes clear that this is not a movement designed to enlist more Republicans but simply to send a message to the Democratic Party that its moral and cultural drift is unacceptable. He contends the stated moral principles of the GOP are far preferable to the Democrats, but GOP candidates also have a tendency to veer away from those principles.

I agree with the opening statement

"'To equate being black with sinful behavior is an insult to the black community'

as to the rest, until there is a party which is strictly biblical, which cant happen in a country whose constitution forbids endorsement of religion,

this one issue (same sex marriage) isnt enough for me to ignore all the other POLITICAL issues that the government affects,,,,

Evil being a personal determination, anything can be called evil.

I consider racist whites evil and bad for the country. Others disagree with me.what

I consider fundamental religious people evil and dangerous for the country. They disagree with me and call me evillaugh

I consider bigots who believe poor people are lazy and worthless evil and they would then call me namesbiggrin

So evil is a personal perspective that can pretty much be disregarded if you don't agree with it. Making it worthless to the masses.

And AGAIN this country was not built by Christians

Our money did not have gods name on it when created

Our pledge did not have gods name in it when created

The separation of church and state was and is still an important part of our doctrine even if it hasn't been done properly because no god should be on our money or in our pledge or in our courts or in our pledging of our leader or in public places, etc... and until it gets put back where it is suppose to be at the separation of church and state is not complete.

Lots of people of varying backgrounds built this nation.

Lets not make it an excuse to force everyone to be a member of a Judeo-Christian affiliation.

Values are independent and can be part of the lives of Judeo-Christians as easily as anyone who is not.

Wisdom is a valuable tool with which to build a nation.

Our children look to us for wisdom...
shall we hand them foolishness instead?

judge not lest ye be judged

neither party is perfect in its ideologies

it could also be implied that catering to the rich is un christian

and therefore the republicans are 'evil'
