Topic: Water always seeks its own level | |
---|---|
Over the past year I think I have read it all. But the posts that get to me are Is it me?, Is it them? Are there any normal people left? The answer to all of the above may be yes. It may be time for an awakening………. Ask yourself…. Does my name represent a part of who I am that I want others to see? Does my picture capture my identity? Am I using a name like sexy kitten, pink kitty, ramhard69 and then wondering or worse complaining that only perverts are contacting me? Am I showing pictures of body parts in boxers, panties, swim suits, nightgowns etc. then saying “not looking for intimate relationship” and wondering why that’s the kind of response I get? Are you the one who flirts with all the women/ men in a public forum and then wonder why the quiet one in the back never responds to you? Look at your posts/profile with an observers eye. Are you sounding needy, grieving, lost, helpless? Most of us are not poets and its hard to get the intent of our emotions across with only words. Everything we do or don’t do is judged by others. Sexy flirty emails, instant messages, cams, phones etc… everything we do makes up who we want other to believe we are. The amazing thing about the internet is that it affords us the opportunity to re-create ourselves if we want to and it can happen as fast as hitting the refresh button. You can be the 45 yr old guy looking for the 25yr old arm candy, the 40 yr old plastic Barbie looking for her sugar daddy, or the 50yr old looking for companionship. Its all about being happy where your water level is at. Reaping what you sow. Self growth, potential and acceptance. So Here is to all of us! Hoping water is seeking its own level no matter the depth and breath of your container. |

I totally agree with your post! You gotta make sure your pic and profile says the right message! So no naked pics if you're serious about finding a LTR! |

A reality-based internet relies on real people.

Common Sense has not the meaning that Thomas Paine first envisioned. And our ever changing technology makes the common nowadays almost obsolete. |

First of all, I just want to say how good it is to see these pics of you and Nus -- proof that sometimes the best attract the best and that sometimes it works for the good people in the world. Nus and I have spent considerable time chasing each other around the forums, exchanging rat-a-tat obscurities and trivialities and nonsense; I have come to feel that I know him, in an odd way, as a sort of kindred spirit in the realm of the non-traditional and esoteric. The first time I deactivated, what drew me back was a post he made, asking a question I thought I might be able to answer.... And you yourself have been so kind and supportive in our exchanges here....it is hard for me to imagine two better, more caring people.... And as to your post, there is something you wrote that made me feel you had somehow seen inside me -- "and then wonder why the quiet one in the back never responds to you?" Because, on some level, that is exactly what I've been hoping for my whole time here.... The quiet one in the back. That's really how I've perceived "the girl with the glasses" from the first time I saw her picture.... How very strange....!! |

Lex-I want to thank you for that. The kindred spirits that jump from our personalities on these forums spring from another reality...one based in the wonderful and often introspective world of imaginations tuned to the same frequencies-but not quite the same station.
Your return to JSH was a welcome releif for me. Your comments on my posts are always thought provoking and non-judgmental, and the timbre of your own words are are songs I know the words to well. You may not be satisfied with finding a mate in this jungle...but I thoroughly enjoy rattling its cages with you, my friend. |

(((((((((Lex))))))))) You must know that by now I think the world of you. You are always thoughtful, kind, considerate, and very thought provoking as well as witty. You know how to use your periods and commas and that makes me down right giddy! I also bet that when I used breath instead of breadth it drove you a little crazy! LOL
It's a funny thing about quiet girls.. Sometimes we sit and watch and wait for guys to jump around and act like 12yr old boys standing on their heads to impress us before we take notice and sometimes it takes us months to find the courage to act on it. But I can promise you that the wait is worth it! |
