Its all about the "sparks"!!!!

I think so, too, Gypsy. That is why I don't wear a lightening rod or a spark suspressor. Why tempt fate?

sure....but it doesn't necessarily mean ya'll are suppose to be together!

I believe in it. It doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but things don't have to make sense in order to happen. Look at the White House.

Lust, yes Love, no |

I believe in it. Hopefully it might strike a man and woman both rather than just one of them.

Like someone else in the thread posted, with internet dating, I believe in love at first sight. Call me crazy, but I was talking to someone for 3 or 4 weeks before meeting, and in that time of talking every day for hours at a time (one call was 5 or 6 hours), and then meeting her in person, man it just took the life right out of me when I first saw her walking my way. Not only was that my best first date, but my best date ever. I didn't think I could connect with someone on that level with just meeting them in person for the first time.....

Nope...dont believe in "love" at first sight..only lust..

I was going to say I don't believe in "love at first site" because I have to really love the person's mind- that's the most important thing for me.
But then I read Todd's response and I know what he means. I had a similar experience recently where I had been emailing and IM'ing and then talking on the phone to this person and when we finally met I was actually just crazy about him. But I didn't really think of it as "first site" because I really felt like I already knew him before we actually met in person. |

love takes time..
that feeling you get when you first see someone, that rush of WANTING to talk with them, that instant attraction...that's called lust..not love |

Love at first sight? Sure. I usually fall in and out of love at least 4 times a day.
In all honesty, how does one describe "love". It is open to intepretation, varies to the individual, and there is no univesal consensus on the definition of love. I guess it can be classified into romantic, passionate, committed, puppy, true, etc. |

NOPE! Love at first sight to me is fals feelings. Just my opinion but how can anyone love someone you don't know or ever meet? Love comes with time and to me that means spending time with that person. I can say you fall in lust lol

To be REAL here to me,,,NO! No one relly FEELS love at first site,,,they feel LUST at first site and THEN "THAT" feeling can GROW into a REAL LOVE feeling inside BOTH!!!
I hate BS, and wasted time on the wrong thoughts of THINKING. Desire, or Attraction, DOES "NOT" constitute "LOVE"! Someones ability to SEE anther is to simply ADMIRE "THAT" person, to fall or FEEL LOVE, is to EXPERIENCE "EVERY" feeling of that OTHER person! |

I think love at first sight is also a personal projection. Whatever you define love, you instantly project it onto a person that you don't even know. JMO.
