I would love to advertise here...but it is against the rules...

Look up stash boxes or type in "by Gabriel" in a search...you should find something...although my "best" item just sold last yesterday...an Ebony and Amboyna burl very ornate watchbox...honestly I did not get even close to the value... however, I did not expect to...exposure...in my case...was the goal...

Oh yeah...one hard lesson that capitalism teaches...the value of anything is what you can and do sell it for...

You have to find your buyer...marketing is the key

A '35 Dodge tail light, or a set of '38 Hudson hubcaps are worth more than 99 cents. laugh
If that's all people will pay, then it's simply not worth my time to place them on Ebay in the first place let alone the effort to clean them and take decent pictures.
All the Chevy SS stuff just might end up going to the scrapyard along with the 50's Volkswagon stuff that already went. I have no interest in keeping this stuff anymore and it has to be worth my time somehow to sell it or it goes into the garbage.

Ebay is great, but it does seem to get boring, espically if it ain't selling. I have put tons of stuff on there and done well back in time. Other times, it's a waste. There's just nothing worth anything right now. Nobody's got any money. Except for gas!!! I buy and sell on there all the time. It's getting to be that time of year. Items I have are very good at Christmas time. But, it's got to be something somebodys looking for. Which ain't much anymore.huh

okay, i'm one of those cheap-assed buyers. if i'm after, say...16 ounces of orange oil, i'll bid on six different ones...VERY low-priced...and hope that one will take. if it does...i'll bid with whatever company or seller sold THAT one...and buy MORE of their stuff to combine shipping.

i manage to get things at about...oh...10% to 25% of what i would pay at a store...and that includes shipping.

Try if you haven't done so but you must search the site first before putting your goods up for sale.

And that is Amazon.com, works a bit better then EBay and doesn't have pay pal fees and what not, but you just have to charge more for shipping if you want to since they don't cover a whole lot, plus they take away some of your money so good luck.

Also try Yahoo, they have a thing where you can sell your stuff.

Or UBid.com.

Just some ideas.
