I once proposed to Alyssa Milano over the phone (jokingly of course, though, had she said yes...) while she was sitting in front of my sister and father at a dodgers game. she said no and I assured her I was a nice guy, but again and rightfully so, she turned me down. given the fact that I labeled myself (for the moment) a “nice guy” and we reached this outcome, I realize in hindsight that I didn’t finish last; I was never even in the race. this I feel, is more than likely the case in most scenarios. btw: props to her for taking the phone from my sisters hands and playing along.
