Topic: Obama desicrates the stars and stripes | |
---|---|
I'll stick with what the debt clock tells me and not some media outlet. the debt clock is fine, the time reference may be faulty though one has to understand fiscal budgets, their dates, etc,,, fiscal years run from oct - oct so Bush first budget ran from oct 2001 and his last ended october 2009 Baracks first budget ran from oct 2009 plugging in those numbers , debt at the beginning of bush first budget was 5.8 trillion and at the end of his final budget was 11.8 trillion an increase of 6 trillion dollars over his eight fiscal budgets (as opposed to 4.6) http://www.treasurydirect.gov/govt/reports/pd/mspd/2012/2012_aug.htm 2 trillion of that was his first four years , the other four trillion was in his last four years obamas first budget started with 11.8 trillion and we are now at 16 trillion an increase of 4.2 tril in three fiscal budgets (as opposed to 5.7) |

sorry, i don’t see our flag here. i see a rendering of a likeness. and for the record, the real flag does have red stripes. I don't know what your smoking but the American flag absolutely has red stripes on it. The red stripes signify hardiness and valor! that was my point to your comment "Notice the commie red for the stripes" |
|
|

I wonder if these red stripes mean commie? or maybe the elephant means americans are obese?...lol |

Just another example of Obama's arrogance. I cannot stand the guy.

I'll stick with what the debt clock tells me and not some media outlet. that’s fine, but what the debt clock doesn’t show is how we got here. this process has been under-way for many years, we didn’t arrive at this point in just the last 3 ½ years. until you, and everyone, else can see outside of party politics, there will be no end. as much as you may hate to admit it, not every single idea, policy, choice or vote the guys with the ‘evil’ (d)’s in front of their names make are bad. the same can be said for the ones with the little (r)’s. it’s the philosophies that need to be altered. no, I don’t think that governments should provide for everyone, but on the other hand, I don’t believe they should blindly allow certain individuals (corporations) to prosper un-fairly either. when did it become the rule that as long as the guys on top were doing well, (very well) than the country as a whole, was doing well also? the problem with that is that nothing trickles! it hasn’t, doesn’t and never will work. if it did, we would not have had the difficult times we now face. banks, wall street, insurance companies, drug companies, oil conglomerates …ect have made more money in the last 10 years than the previous 200 plus years of this country. so, what happened? where did all of the jobs go? aren’t these the very people that we now call the “job creators”? why have the salaries’ of the heads of these companies skyrocketed, yet, the pay for the people that turn the screws, push the papers, cook the food, teach the children, patrol the streets has increased by a miniscule amount? (in comparison) you cannot cap a high-rise without first building a foundation. we once had that, but we are losing it more and more each year as we allow and, in some cases, encourage the disappearance of the middle class. nothing is more telling to me about the fundamental philosophy, than the statement by the now vice presidential candidate, on labor day; when he basically told business owners it was their day to celebrate their hard work and to pat themselves on the back for making their prospective companies successful. isn’t that the opposite of “labor day”? |

damn freedom hating anti americans why do americans keep voting them in? it seems that for every accusation anyone brings up against obama, you seem to feel the need to dig something up from the past to make an excuse for him. like that makes what obama does ok because someone else in the past did it. monkey see, monkey do is a funny way to support your candidate That is correct and ANYONE can tell that the Obama flag is obviously a twisted version of the American flag that violates flag etiquette. |
