I can able to see whether i got any IM request. In my system Instant message is ON.How can i check that.

HOW DO I IM?
First, you must have YOUR 'Instant Messaging'
turned ON:

(Or >>My Account>>Settings>>Turn ON IM)

Then you would go to the profile of the person
with whom you wish to chat.

Under their picture there is an orange button
'Instant Message' which you would click on and
the request to Instant Message is sent.

If there is no orange button labeled 'Instant
Message' it could mean one of two things.

The person does NOT have 'Instant Messaging'
turned ON.
(In which case you could email them and request
they turn it ON.)

Or, the person is in 'Stealth Mode.'

In my system IM is on. My problem is, if some one sent a request for chat through IM, i cant able check that. whether i got any request or not. As per ur details IM window will come , whether we have to accept the request or not. but in my case, i am not getting that window. please advice

If someone has sent you a request to chat,
the window will pop up.

The window stays up until you say 'Yes' or No'
to the request.

There is no logistic to check IM requests,
as far as I know.

***Note:
If either of you is in 'Stealth' mode, you will
NOT be able to see the 'Instant Message' button.

Pop up blocker? I dont get requests either, but I use a pop up blocker.
