OK, sorry to bother you again guys. This one confuses me. OK so a couple of my movies FINALLY downloaded, and now they are on my computer as a Winamp (cause that is my main media program)file. Which is fine and dandy, IF it would play in it. So I drag and drop them in my Media Player. And they play just fine in there EXCEPT there is no audio.

you are probably missing the correct codec. Try downloading a multi codec set and it will probably catch the codec you need. Also you can try searching for "playing divx in media player" in google and it should come up with some results.

divx player should have all the correct codecs is why i suggested she try using it

OK, I just downloaded Dvx, cause I thought I had it but I did not. And it told me that my 15 day trial has expired for the converter. Which is funny, cause I have never had it.

Whisper, sound does work when you try other files (like mp3) in media player, right?

Download VLC media player. If it doesn't play it, the file you downloaded is in all probability useless junk.

Use torrent reactor, I have never had any issues with ANYTHING from there. No One I have ever talked to has had issues with then either(now of course someone will say how bad it is just cause I am talking so highly about it) N E way how have you been whispers?

ok if u have dixx ...... to make the sound go up click on the movie. if u have a scroll button ur mouse thats how u turn up the volume. dont feel bad i didnt know thats how either lol . took me a few days to get that one to work.
another great one is real player but the best is divx. |

i use the k-lite codec pack, and download vids in a variety of formats - have no trouble playing anything.

You can change what programs/apps open what file/app in the properties selection. Some open with others according to the format.
I use 321 classic media player with all codecs when I'm useing windows. |
