screw lessons dude, teach yourself. practice by playing scales bottom to top, top to bottom.. work on speed. learn chords at your own pace. it's not that hard

indeed. i used to practice 7-8 hours a day after school. skipped school to play a lot of the time too. it's almost as addicting as JSH

haha its not that hard, just try it! have him teach you the basic fingerings for scales. they're all similar. read up on some music theory, and its cake
