I enjoy Model rocketry, and collect minerals. the minerals I collect are in a big jug labeled soy protein powder - vitamin and mineral supplement - contains 13 grams of soy protein I am hobby numb (resting)but I do love music, I print my own photos and try to ride my bike

i like a lot of things. i really enjoy observing stuff and writing about it on my blog...even though no one reads it lol i enjoy helping my friends fix up their resumes and cover letters. i'm not sure why i like it, but i'm into doing practical and productive stuff. i also like taking classes in stuff that are completely useless in the real world but find it enriching on every other level. but regular hobbies for me is swimming and long distance cycling (in cooler weather!)

I liked to draw, go camping, go on random road trips. I also like hunting down and collecting rare horror flicks, yes some can be found online for download, though not all, and I do do that as a last resort, but it's more fun and satisfying finding that rare VHS or laser disc at a flea market, music store, VHS trade show, garage sale....

When i was a kid, i used to make my rockets low budjet style, buy the engines but make the rest out of "stuff... turn the nosecones on a lathe, parachute out of a garbage bag.. ect. Now I am what is known as a as a BAR, or Born again rocketter. bigger budgets, but the same hobby. there is a lot of neat stuff out now like altimeters, cams, ect, actually they were always available but are much better now. Been collecting what io call 'toxic minerals", asbestiforms, galena,(lead), that kind of thing. Also, i have a nice big non fiction library, actually more volumes than the local public school. Last time i moved there were 7 pallets of books. lol

I so agree with you on that I like collwcting a lot of vintage stuff, but mainly rare vinyl albums or CD's, which other fans may not have. I always just have to have the rarer ones. Which sometimes means ordering imports from the internet. I also like to draw and make up my own anime characters. I can be a bit too creative, as I can make up fifty new characters every day. It gets annoying when they crowd up in your head all at once. You never know which one to draw first. Maybe I should go into the comic magazine industry. : laugh:

i wish i had artistic talent... I can draw blueprints just fine but not art.

This is a really old thread theme, but a good one I think. It is interesting how many different things people enjoy. I like my job with the fire dept... only wish i would have done it a long time ago... it seems like a hobby but its very real thats for sure.

I have been on ebay for 5 years now. I collect and sell vintage items and bicycles. All my neighbors nicknamed me the bikeman.

I make jewelry, cross-stitch, read ( mostly in the winter)snorkel, parasail, hot air balloons, ride motorcycle and I travel as much as I can..especially the southwestern USA...Three years ago I did a 6,000 mile roundtrip drive to Idaho and back (to Ohio) alone... I used to collect owls and Ted DeGrazia paintings but had to downsize my living space and no more room..
