The recession started when the dem's took control of Congress which handles the budget. Look it up. from what I read the 'recession' began in 2007 much like we can pinpoint when we started to see symptoms of a 'cold',,,,there was the previous condition that made fertile ground for us to CATCH the cold but back to your claim, lets see,,, seems that for TWO sessions 110 and 111 the dems had control,, that was from 2007-2011 AFTER the recession had BEGUN when we lead UP to a recession, the congress had been under Republican control since going back to 1995 so, yes, republican control LEAD US TO the recession,,,,  Sorry, I couldn't help myself ...I seriously doubt dissecting, defining, then "trying" to explain how the CURRENT recession is ALL the fault of the Republicans is something that can be done in hour or two of googling and speed reading a few "select" articles...... Sorry again......

when is 16.6T (todays debt) TRIPLE 10.6T (the debt when Obama took office)? whats not obvious is what talking point the other side has BESIDES The debt (which they always ignore began increasing because of an economic COLLAPSE That had already begun) Clinton did an EXCELLENT Job of explaining just HOW things have improved, (I think he called it putting a floor under what was collapsing) He did an excellent job of actually EXPLAINING the misleading talking points the Republicans used in their convention too but the other side sticks to their tunnelvision and pushing the issue of the debt as if its a solely barack obama created number or the ONLY issue that matters,,,, S Korea , Saudi Arabia, Libya, Iran,, all have much better DEBT Situation than us,,, if that is really the MOST important issue, why doesnt everyone move to those places?

To be honest, William Jefferson Blythe flowed a lot of nose candy in his day. He and his brother thru Mena Ark. So much that one day, his nose may flower. Stranger things have happened.

time will tell,,, more should be expected in EIGHT years than in four,, obviously and , hopefully, when there is no longer the motivation to keep him from being reelected congress will actually do some WORK on policies to keep moving us forward |

The DUMBOCRATS! recession began in dec 2007 the last FISCAL BUDGET under republican control was the 109th congress for FY2007 which ran from oct 1st 2007 through oct 1st 2008 the previous FIVE congresses/budgets were also under republican control by the time the democrats controlled the budget(fy 2008) the recession ahd been underway almost an entire year |
