... thing you have ever done? in a G rated way. lol
Fire school was easy, except for the "practical exam." There is a written test which was not very hard, But the Practical test, or the physical part was Brutal. Would have kilt an ordinary man. lol |

I was a tad nervous but figured what the heck; if my time was up; then its up. |

Hardest thing was staying strong for everybody else and propping them up, whilst the doctors told us that my eldest son may not live, and if he did, he would be PVS, when all i wanted to do was find a quiet corner and go insane with grief.

Telling my 9-year-old son that his mother had died. Just thinking about that moment makes me cry.
Here is the beginning of my book: “She’s gone.” Those were the saddest and worst words I had ever heard. “She” was my wife. As I looked at her lifeless body, I was stunned by the suddenness of her death. At the time she was admitted to the hospital, I had already been informed that my wife’s condition was terminal. Yet, I had hoped that I would have enough time to prepare for what was to come. I didn’t.
The hardest part of my ordeal took place just a few minutes later, when my nine-year-old son Dawson arrived at the hospital. I had to tell him that he had lost his mother. Nothing could have prepared me for his reaction. He wailed as if he was on fire, and I could do nothing to alleviate his pain. |

Spending the night in jail. But since that wasn't voluntary I'll say giving birth without drugs or epidural to my 3rd child.
Wait...that wasn't voluntary either. I guess going through the police academy. |

I was a tad nervous but figured what the heck; if my time was up; then its up. That's interesting. That's how I used to feel when faced with similar situations as a cop. Nervous, but kind of resigned to whatever happened, too. |

Cops should be nervous. Everyone hates them. Which sucks but its not undeserved...
Wouldent want that job whatever the pay. |
