I just dont get the point of secrecy. My crush wrote to me, I told him I was interested and it has flown from there. Seems a mature, real way of getting who you want.

I think people just don't want to hurt other peoples hopes or feelings for someone they may be interested in.

That is the difference, the only difference, between true love and crush.

Oh, and that nobody knows about the crush. Except we know one thing for sure: the crushed one does not consider the crusher a crush, ever in the history of the world. Because if the crushed did, then it would be called "love". (Or a really good fing lay. Mind-blowing sex till doomsday come.)

There is another thing. Women have true-love-crushes. In the sense, that they are romantic. Which, in even simpler terms, translates to a lot and elongated fore play and culminates in marriage and kids.

The girls therefore have one (1) crush at a time.

Whereas guys. Guys consider a girl a crush if they find her attractive when she just got out of the meat-grinder. The woman is a machine to them, and the crush happens because of the sqeeze.

Therefore guys are not restricted to one crush, much like you don't find only one person in the world physically attractive.

Guys will gladly turn around and admit their crush to a girl who courts him. He's like wow, I got one. To the girl it's serious. To the guy, it's serious too, but not that much tied down to one person -- I mean, first come, first served. He knows he can marry only one girl in America, but all things being equal, and she being exciting and sexy, he will go for one of any number of them.

So the girls keep it quite and a secret coz they are jealous of their innermost secret feelings. The guys keep it a secret, in case they reveal it to the wrong one, and then the next one who would have had a crush on him, does not want him either, and nobody will ever talk to him, he's become a pariah, an untouchable (literally). That's why guys keep their tongue tied.

Come on Wux, you know how easy it is to love everyone who talks to you on the internet,
it's having someone who makes you feel good about yourself and takes an interest, you can say and talk about things that you may not when you are first getting to know people face to face.
But as for putting a crush on here , that would suck big time, then if the other person felt nothing what rock can you crawl under.

Anyway I can do it Anacondaarms does it still count even though we are married now. I still have a crush on him, just not so secret.
