What was the purpose of creating and supporting the State of Israel? What was the ultimate agenda?

The Protocols were never declared a "forgery." They were declared to be plagiarized from earlier works.

Incorrect. They have been declared a forgery and they were based on a story, not a work of non-fiction.

They are a plan for global domination by a secret (probably satanic) society.

Anti-Semitic propaganda.

The protocols are a plan for global domination. That is a fact. Maybe you have never read them.

Since "Jews" are an invented people, it has nothing to do with them in truth. It (the plagarism) was only made to look like that.

The original protocols are probably older than the Bible itself. Satanic in nature, in my opinion.

Very interesting question.... and there is a very interesting answer you would not believe anyway.

I have got to go now..

Later.

Nice story. I have read them as a source document for my unit on anti-Semitism at university. Your sophistry about the 'Jews' in the above post convinces no-one apart from hardcore anti-Semites. So, will this be the next diversion?

I see anti-Muslim and anti-Palestinian threads here are more frequent and there is no ADL (Arab defense league) or MDL (Muslim defense league) jumping in there and calling people prejudice and anti-Muslim, which is what you will see as soon as any thread criticizing Israel goes up and there will be people screaming "anti-Semitic" all over the place in a New York minute.

Now, come on, there are anti-Israeli threads on a daily basis, usually posted by the same few individuals with an obsession for the subject. There is no 'league' coming to Israel's defence, just a group of individuals who find the overt anti-Semitism (used here in the accepted sense) disgusting. Let's not stretch the truth here.

Criticism of Israel and the Zionist agenda is not "anti-semitism."

And yet, that is what it is always called 98% of the time.

I find that disgusting.

The so-called 'Zionist agenda' is anti-Semitism. You know the origins of this false hypothesis and you know its anti-Semitic roots.
Don't give me that BS.

You know this story comes from 'The Protocols of the Elders of Zion'-a known forgery with anti-Semitic roots. The hypothgesis is false and no amount of puerile contradiction will alter that.

Zionism is the thousands of years old movement of Jews to return
to their original homeland. When people object to Israel and Zionism
because it is Jewish that it is antisemitic.

It is particularly repugnant when known antisemitic hate speech is
reposted and repeated after it has been pointed out many times that
these conspiracies were used to slander Jews and justify genocide.
Using revolting bigotry normally not found outside of Nazi
propaganda makes it very clear that such hatred of Israel and
Zionism is antisemitic.

Protestations that the Nazi propaganda was "correct" is
truly reprehensible.

The old cover story of 'criticism of Israel is not anti-Semitism' is BS. The hypotheses posited in the forgery still have adherents despite the legacy of Nazism. Old hatreds still burn deep and Judeophobes either are anti-Semitic (used here in the accepted sense) themselves, or followers of anti-Semitic media. One common tactic (as we see here on Mingle often enough) is to try and 'delegitimise' Jews as a specific group through specious and sophist arguments.

First of all, genocide can never be justified.

Secondly, human beings only live about 80 years. There is no reason to think that a group of people would want to "return" to a "home" they were never born in.

Zionism is NOT thousands of years old. Read your history.

If you know anything about ancient scripture you would know that the Bible itself is mostly rewritten and plagiarized portions of older scripture. So it is the same with the Protocols. The Bible, is plagiarized. The Protocols, are plagiarized. Who knows how many times it was rewritten. No one probably, but if you are going to call it "forgery" then you must have a person whose work or (signature) was forged. It is NOT "forgery." It is plagiarized.

If I signed a check and signed YOUR name to it, on one of YOUR checks, that is forgery because I signed your name with the intent to defraud someone into thinking it was YOUR signature.

You don't know the difference between forgery and plagiarism. laugh

A "forgery" is usually an exact copy of something trying to pass as the original. Like a forgery of a painting.

The protocols could not have been a forgery. laugh If the protocols was a forgery, what was it a forgery of? The original? What original?

The desire for Zionism (the return of Jews to their homeland) has
been part of Jewish prayers for thousands of years. The Jews were
historically conquered and moved multiple times returning again to
Israel. It is only in the last couple of centuries that the modern
version of Zionism has resulted in this latest return and refounding
of Israel.

Here is a quote from the Wiki on Zionism:

Anti-semites have alleged that Zionism was, or is, part of a Jewish plot to take control of the world.[106] One particular version of these allegations, "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" (subtitle "Protocols extracted from the secret archives of the central chancery of Zion") achieved global notability. The protocols are fictional minutes of an imaginary meeting by Jewish leaders of this plot. Analysis and proof of their fraudulent origin goes as far back as 1921.[107] A 1920 German version renamed them "The Zionist Protocols".[108] The protocols were extensively used as propaganda by the Nazis and remain widely distributed in the Arab world. They are referred to in the 1988 Hamas charter.[109]

There are examples of anti-Zionists using accusations, slanders, imagery and tactics previously associated with anti-semites. On October 21, 1973, then-Soviet ambassador to the United Nations Yakov Malik declared: "The Zionists have come forth with the theory of the Chosen People, an absurd ideology." Similarly, an exhibit about Zionism and Israel in the Museum of Religion and Atheism in Saint Petersburg designates the following as Soviet Zionist material: Jewish prayer shawls, tefillin and Passover Hagaddahs,[110] even though these are all religious items used by Jews for thousands of years.[111]

No point in believing in a known lie to justify bigotry.
The truth is well known.

From the Wiki on the Protocols of the Elders of Zion:

The Protocols of the Elders of Zion or The Protocols of the Meetings of the Learned Elders of Zion is an antisemitic hoax purporting to describe a Jewish plan for global domination. It was first published in Russia in 1903, translated into multiple languages, and disseminated internationally in the early part of the 20th century. Henry Ford funded printing of 500,000 copies that were distributed throughout the United States in the 1920s.

Adolf Hitler and the Nazis publicized the text as if it were a valid document, although it was exposed as fraudulent. After the Nazi Party came to power in 1933, it ordered the text to be studied in German classrooms. The historian Norman Cohn suggested that Hitler used the Protocols as his primary justification for initiating the Holocaust—his "warrant for genocide".[1]

The Protocols purports to document the minutes of a late 19th-century meeting of Jewish leaders discussing their goal of global Jewish hegemony by subverting the morals of Gentiles, and by controlling the press and the world's economies. It is still widely available today and even now sometimes presented as a genuine document, whether on the Internet or in print in numerous languages

whoa

This explanation has been posted before several times in response to the many antisemitic threads on mingle2 and
although some continue to deny its validity, it is the real honest
truth, well supported with numerous references.

There seems to be a campaign in America that encourages and even applauds anti-muslim and anti-Arab sentiment which is no different than what happened in Germany with anti-Jew sentiment.

If you want to get politically incorrect it goes like this:

"Arab and Muslims hate Jews and Americans and are all a bunch of terrorists. Their goal is to take over the entire world and install their own Muslim based law."

"Jews control the media, and the money and their goal is to take over the entire world and install their own dictator."

The truth is that a secret society that evolved from the Knights Templar and the Vatican, into the idea of Central Banking and the control of the world's wealth is what is running the show.

It has nothing to do with Arab or Jewish people.

The Knights Templar ceased to exist in the 14th century because of the church. The Templars were arrested, tried and executed in show trials and there was nothing left of them.

The modern groups claiming to be templars started in the 18th centuary as nothing more then fraternaties and people seem to ignore or be blind to the 400 year gap where they didn't exist and declined.

Actually, only a percentage of the Templars were tried. Many escaped to places like Scotland and Switzerland and led different lives. It is believed they were the beginnings of Freemasonry which continues to this day. Modern fraternities are based on Freemasonry.

So, what does "being declared a forgery" actually mean?

It has also been declared "plagiarism."

What "being declared a forgery" means is that someone believes it is a copy of the original writing.

Is it exactly the same as the original? -- We discover that it is not. It has been altered.

If I made a "forgery" of a painting, (a copy) and yet I altered it, would it pass as the original painting? Of course not. So you could not call it a very successful "forgery" unless there were people ignorant enough to believe it was the original painting by some famous artist.

So that makes it (the Protocols) more of a plagiarized work than "forgery."

In either case, the Protocols are the written instructions (a plot) to take over the world and governments. You can call it a forgery all you want, but that does not change the fact that it is instructions for taking over the world, one government at a time.

Is anyone using these instructions? Well just look around at what is happening in the world and you will see that someone is.

The answer to the question of Who is using and following these instructions is "they" are.

The answer to who "they" are is in this link.

http://english.pravda.ru/business/finance/18-10-2011/119355-The_Large_Families_that_rule_the_world-0/

So if you can get past your own emotional block and outrage about the Protocols allegedly being about "Jews," you will see that someone is definitely using these instructions and following them to the letter.

**********************************

Who are "they"?

We are speaking of 6, 8 or maybe 12 families who truly dominate the world. Know that it is a mystery difficult to unravel.

We will not be far from the truth by citing Goldman Sachs, Rockefellers, Loebs Kuh and Lehmans in New York, the Rothschilds of Paris and London, the Warburgs of Hamburg, Paris and Lazards Israel Moses Seifs Rome.

Many people have heard of the Bilderberg Group, Illuminati or the Trilateral Commission. But what are the names of the families who run the world and have control of states and international organizations like the UN, NATO or the IMF?

To try to answer this question, we can start with the easiest: inventory, the world's largest banks, and see who the shareholders are and who make the decisions.

The world's largest companies are now: Bank of America, JP Morgan, Citigroup, Wells Fargo, Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley.

If it was truly 'plagiarised' the characters and circumstances would not have changed. The dialogues were kept, but the circumstances and characters were changed and the text was presented as fact, not the fiction it was stolen from. Now, I posted the link declaring it a forgery, whether you choose to bandy the semantics of the issue, i.e. 'forgery', 'hoax' is your choice and I don't give a flying fc*k about the terminology, it is what it is-Bullsh*t. It is obvious that you can't get past your emotional reaction and outrage that the protocols presumes to be about Jews.

If you want to call it "fiction" or "Forgery" (Which is an incorrect term for what it is) or plagiarism, that label does not change the fact that the Protocols are instructions for world domination.

And if you look at the world and what is happening, you will see that someone is following these instructions to the letter.

And if you do some research about who is running the world you will find the people who are doing it.

I need not say any more. The information can all be verified. If a person refuses to see it, then their head is in the sand.

I provided you with a link where they were declared a forgery some time ago, if you wish to argue that, go right ahead, but I'm not interested in your sophist crap. I'm only declaring it thus owing to the source material. You direct this toward me when it is in the sources. Perhaps you should take this up with the authors of the sources instead of raving at me. I notice (as usual) you haven't provided any sources to provide evidence to the contrary-just the usual diatribes. What doesn't change is that this document was used as propaganda to justify genocide on an industrialised scale, and although highly specious, it is still being used to justify anti-Semitic theories as you demonstrated earlier.

And if you look at the world and what is happening, you will see that someone is following these instructions to the letter.

And if you do some research about who is running the world you will find the people who are doing it.

I need not say any more. The information can all be verified. If a person refuses to see it, then their head is in the sand.

I rest my case.
