Topic: A prayer for the nation? | |
---|---|
This is an original poem I wrote myself.
A Prayer for the Nation? A Prayer for the Nation? well it is about time! Going down so fast now a dollars worth a dime. The prisons are all full because the countries full of crime. Young and old and baby boomer screaming. “Mine, Mine, Mine”! We're always blaming someone else for the trouble that we're in. It's always someone else's fault, seems we always point to him. We do our share of wrong and say “It's our fair share”. Then we point to someone else, pretending that we care. We must stop blaming someone else for everything that's wrong and get down on our knees, this nation hasn't long. We've turned away from God, everyone, we're all to blame. What was once a Christian nation is going down in flames. Those that do not know Jesus do what they always do they pray to gods that are not God, they haven't got a clue. It's up to those who know Jesus Christ, to call upon His name confess our sins and turn away so our country can be saved. The people we are fighting are not who we should fight our enemy is crafty, he keeps hidden out of sight. Stop fighting one another, Jesus said that we should love only then will they know we are different and sent from up above. So if you call upon His name and say Jesus is your Lord you must turn away from sin so all can be restored. You must pray to God, you're the only ones who can and then God by His Spirit will bring revival to this land. Daniel Swann |
