I want to protest, but crap I am even scared to do that. Some cop will say you are trespassing or disturbing the peace. Welcome to the police state.

So apply for a permit. Most places have laws in place that give you the right to protest. You are just to lazy to go through with it.

Ever seen what happens when a cop(s) show up at a lawful protest? Pepper spray, tazers, and general beatings are common.

Just one of dozens of examples freely available on youtube.: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOImv8e14RE

Plus I am sick of having to have a god damn permit for every damn thing I want to do. This is supposed to be a free country. Screw their damn permits.

Just proved her point chaz.

Yes because objective people only see in black and white. You agree with me or you are under mind control. It says you believe this it that. What about non religious people? None of those points apply. Just because people vote doesn't mean they praise politicians. The guy is totally against any kind of law at all or any kind of government at all. I can say that without a government we wouldn't have a military. Without a military we would all be under the rule of Someone else. Japan would have taken us over during world war 2 if no one did it before then. You can't just very a governmentless society in a land so rich in resources and not be overrun. Look what happened to the native Americans.

Funny you mention the Native Americans.....who took their land? WE DID!

Also.....you are being a hypocrite, because you and your type embody the very first line you claim those speaking against you do. We can't disagree with you, without you putting us down for doing so. So yeah, may wanna look at yourself first before you start throwing stones at us.

Please explain how I am being a hypocrite. I believe in grey area. I am not calling people cattle for not believing what I do.

But you call us stupid if we believe in what you call "conspiracy theories", not much different.....

and as for why I mentioned the Native Americans, it's because it's a fact, this country STOLE the land from them. We are ignorant of our nations very own history.

A law or a crime should be about harming another person. IT IS CALLED COMMON LAW.

You are using an incorrect definition of common law.

From the 'Lectric Law Library's Lexicon:

COMMON LAW:

That which derives its force and authority from the universal consent and immemorial practice of the people. The system of jurisprudence that originated in England and which was latter adopted in the U.S. that is based on precedent instead of statutory laws.

Traditional law of an area or region; also known as case law. The law created by judges when deciding individual disputes or cases. The body of law which includes both the unwritten law of England and the statutes passed before the settlement of the United States.

In Old England there were two types of Courts - law and equity. In the law court the Judge applied statutes. As time went on situations that were not covered by statutes were uncovered and Judges 'created' law, usually in equity. This is 'common law.'

The U.S. is a common law country. In all states except Louisiana (which is based on the French civil code), the common law of England was adopted as the general law of the state, EXCEPT when a statute provides otherwise. Common law has no statutory basis; judges establish common law through written opinions that are binding on future decisions of lower courts in the same jurisdiction. Broad areas of the law, most notably relating to property, contracts and torts are traditionally part of the common law. These areas of the law are mostly within the jurisdiction of the states and thus state courts are the primary source of common law. Thus, 'common law' is used to fill in gaps. Common law changes over time, and at this time, each state has its own common law on many topics. The area of federal common law is primarily limited to federal issues that have not been addressed by a statute.

Even if federal common law otherwise would operate, it is displaced when Congress has decided the matter. See, e.g., Central Bank v. First Interstate Bank of Denver, N.A., 114 S.Ct. 1439, 1448 (1994) (holding that the conclusion that Congress did not intend to impose aiding and abetting liability under section 10(b) of the Securities and Exchange Act 'resolve[d] the case' notwithstanding the acknowledged power of the federal courts, with respect to the section 10(b) actions, to fashion federal common law that 'attempt[s] to infer `how . . . Congress would have addressed the issue,'' (quoting Musick, Peeler & Garrett v. Employers Ins. of Wausau, 113 S.Ct. 2085, 2090 (1993).

I didn't watch the video but I have been telling people on here and elsewhere for the last 2 years or so to vote AGAINST the incumbents, but sheeple are stupid. Congress (that's the house AND senate combined) have a 10% approval rating right now and even though it is that low 90% of the incumbents will be reelected and that is just plain old stupid!

I say don't vote.

Don't legitimize their criminal rule of authority over us. Don't vote at all.

Gee, thank you so much. As if I care about your approval.

I have no objection to you voting, because I know it is a wasted effort.
But if it makes you feel like a loyal member of the flock go ahead.

Who says we are ignorant of the history? I am just saying nit all of our ancestors were in the country at the time. If I moved to Japan and became a residents for I then have to take responsibility for when Japan enslaved Korea?

No I don't call people stupid for believing in conspiracy theories. I call them stupid for ignoring things that are easily explained by physics. I have no quarrel with the CTs out there that think the terrorist did it and we had for warning or possibly even let it happen. Thide ideas can't be challenged by science or proven with science. JFK assassination etc. Think what you want. But try just ignoring repeatable scientific research and analysis..... Yea I will call those people dumb. But not for believing as I do.

You should watch it before you comment. It practically says cop killing is justified and the drug dealers are less criminal than cops etc. It's not about politicians being corrupted but about the idea of government being wrong. It's total anarchy. I mean I don't trust most of Washington but completely disagree with the video.

Most of the drug dealers are CIA and a lot of them are cops.

All true. We may need a government of sorts to prevent us from being invaded, but we don't really need a standing army to prevent that. Having a powerful national guard of people who only serve part-time (maintaining skills, etc) during times of peace would be sufficient.

taxes arent 'stolen' money

guy who avoids being 'robbed' by the government = freeloader, wanting the privileges of citizenship without being required to invest anything into its preservation

The person in the video sounds like a bit of an extremest to me, but he is correct about taxation being essentially theft. It is taken from you under threat of force.

As far as tax evasion and freeloaders - I do think that most tax evaders are freeloaders, because most people do benefit from taxes.

That doesn't make it any less theft. If I steal from you and then use some of the money to paint your house, I'm still stealing from you.
